We headed out on the Deckhand Team Boat to run & gun some paddies while making our way to the blue fin zone. We had with us our kite gear, madmacs, spreader bars, jig sticks, flyline rigs, the BBQ and the tri-tip. The most important of all, we had the 18-Can Soft Cooler Backpack loaded with beers for the two of us.

The 18-Can Soft Cooler Backpack is perfect for taking it to the dock and getting on the boat with your hands free, or likely carrying other gear. The padded shoulder straps fit comfortable, the molded hard bottom and top make the bag a nice solid shape, add in 2” insulation around the bag to keep the ice cold for days.  We had the beers already cold, loaded them in, then filled the rest of the bag with ice, packing it in and moving it around to fill the whole bag. Then slotted in on top a small yeti ice-pack that fits perfectly inside the bottom lip of the lid.

I keep the koozies in the top lid, in the inside mesh pocket. The water-seal zipper is firm to pull, letting you know the seal is tight. The T-pull zipper handle gives that added support to lock in that frozen temps.  The front pocket kept some energy bars we wanted to keep cool.

The 18-Can Soft Cooler Backpack did its job and kept the beers cold throughout the day as we drove all over the 267, 209, 277, Mackerel Bank on out to the 499 for a full day of fishing. Once the fish turned off and we were out of beers, we turned the boat and head east back to the dock. We definitely Fished Hard And Far!
